I’m free! 私は最終的に自由である!

Yea.. I’m finally done with my final exams and I’m free to go on X-mas break! ^__^ I hope X-mas this year is gunna be great. Sorry for the wait on the blog. I’ve been busy lately with my Theatrical Revue activity which was done 2 weeks ago. I did 3 perfomances. “The Sinag-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association (SFTPAA) is a Sacramento-based charitable organization. Its mission is to train community members in, and promote the theater and performing arts through, the study, interpretation and staging of the works of Filipino musical, dance, literary and cultural artists.” (http://www.sftpaa.org) This 1st semester has been really hectic for me because of that program. I rehearsed every week. The last week before the show was tough. I rehearsedfrom 6:00 – 10:00 everyday and sometimes we leave at 11:00. The bad thing was my academics were hurting. I get home at 10:00 – 11:00 and still need to study for tests and do homework. I finally caught up after the show preparing for my finals which I did. Aiight now it’s finally over. My B-Day!

Well today has been fun. I woke up around… 2pm this afternoon and it was great lol. I went to bed around 3 last morning cuz I was busy filming a pen spinning freestyle in celebration for my b-day. Well I’ll tell you later about that. Ok back on subject. We decided to go to San Francisco just for my b-day and I chose Japan town. Why? Because I love going there. I love the scenery the culture everything lol. I’m really into asian culture especially japanese, korean and chinese. That’s my favorite place to go to in San Francisco. When we arrived after parking the parking garage and what not, my family and I (9 of us) went browsing around the malls (Miyako and Kinokuniya). I’ve been dying to go to the stationary store in Kinokuniya when we arrived just to see if they had some pens to make for pen spinning lol. Sadly, they didn’t have the stuff I wanted which were yellow hyper jells and hi-tecs. I guess they were sold out. After browsing around we searched for places to eat. Later on, we found out most of the restaurants were full and waiting times were ridiculous. My cousin suggested to eat in a “all you can eat” buffet in daly city and we ended up heading there since I’ve ate in Kinokuniya mall many times. I decided to go to a place I’ve never been before and turned out great. It was a all japanese buffet and was really good. xD It was MC Skewer Sushi & Grill. Try going there sometime. I recommend it if you live near the bay area. Headin’ back home was weird. It all foggy from the freeway to my house. Yeah.. thats LOTS of fog lol. We came back home around 12:10am. Time Flys…

Jebus… its already November and Thanksgiving is arriving. My 1st quarter of school is already over with and I can’t believe how fast time had gone. I remember my last year of school the same way but now I’m a senior. Time is flying like crazy. o_O My birthday is on the 26th and not too far away. I’m going to turn 18. Jeez.. when you get older time feels like nothing. Live life to the fullest guys. Give it your all.

The Art of Penspinning

Well.. I’ve been penspinning for a while now. I’m currently a 1 year spinner now and I still spin. It’s a very interesting hobby and no one ever does it here where I live. (Not that I know of) It’s very unique and fun. However, I’m still learning how to master the art of penspinning. There’s soo much combinations to the  tricks that it’s very eye-catching. :O I love how many spinners portray their style especially JEB spinners. What is style? A style is shown how the spinner portrays the trick visually. After, my 6 months of spinning and when bonkura died. Who is bonkura?

“bonkura was a famous Japanese pen spinner. He was a member of formost of JEB and also of The Universal Pen Spinning board, The Collective Pen Spinning Board and UPSB V3. He was known around the world as one of the most skilled, smooth and creative pen spinners in the world. He got to the semi-finals of the World Pen Spinning Tournament in 2007. He also invented the ballsign mod. bonkura was considered by many as the first true ‘famous’ pen spinner, as he was known by many pen spinners, from all communities and countries, he made many television appearances and his solo videos have attracted tens of thousands of views on the internet. On September 23, 2007, UPSB V3 member toast informed the UPSB community that bonkura had passed away from unexpected heart failure. This information was released a few days after he died, on September 13, 2007. The cause of the heart failure is unknown.” (UPSB Wiki)

I decided to change my style more to Japanese. I love the Japanese style very much. It’s nice, fluid, and smooth. bonkura has changed my overall outlook of penspinning and I will continue to show others the art of penspinning the way bonkura did. I tend to mix alot of styles from the popular spinners from JEB like, bonkura, key3, and SEVEN. My SEVEN style.

I decided to move from FC2 to WordPress. I seem to like WordPress better because from the variety of blog designs and it’s more easier for me to use. FC2 is a little confusing. I can’t seem to work the add-ons and such. So, I’ll be using WordPress more often.
